5/9/14
Hi! I'm officially an old human. Twenty-one whole years old. Crazy. I feel like am still nine years old. I don't even understand where the time has gone. I had the greatest birthday. All the missionaries were so kind. I got so many cards and gifts and texts and cakes and just kind words. It was great. We had mission leadership conference on my actual birthday which was kind of cool. I would never have guessed that I would be sitting in Moscow, Russia talking about ways to do missionary work with some of the coolest people in the whole world. I loved it. We were in Moscow for the majority of the week last week. We did splits and then had MLC. We will be out of town for the most of this week too. Crazy life. But a good life. Something way cool happened at MLC. A couple of months ago I was thinking about the mission and how everyone deserves to see miracles. I have seen so many miracles on my mission and that's one of the reasons I love missionary work so much. I came up with an idea for the mission that was designed to help everyone see miracles. It's called the Transfer of Miracles. Basically, for three weeks we are focusing on one different aspect of missionary work. For example, week one we are going to focus on getting new investigators. We have a mission goal to get more new investigators in that week than we ever have before. And then it carries on, so the second week will be how many member-present lessons we can get in one week. And so forth. But it's also paired with a principle of obedience so that missionaries can see the correlation between miracles and obedience. Anyways, we talked about it at MLC and the mission decided to do it! Cool, huh? We are about to see so many crazy miracles. The AP's will be presenting it zone conferences this week. We are so excited. We met some way cool people this week and hopefully we will be meeting with them soon. Life is good! I'm happy and healthy and loving life. Thank you so much for all the birthday wishes and for all the kindness you always show me. I love you all more than you know! Love, Sister Harris
