So many things.

4/13/14
Okay. I have so many things. So much news. Things are about to get crazy. Hold onto your hats, ladies and gentlemen.
1. Our investigator has a baptismal date. THE EXCITEMENT IS UNREAL. She's so cool and it's honestly mind blowing to see how far this area has come since the beginning of the transfer. Mind blowing. When I first got here we had zero progressing investigators, nothing was happening here. And now in six weeks we have found someone who has been so prepared by Heavenly Father to find this church. So prepared. She'll probably be baptized in the middle of May.
2. I'm getting a new companion. And. She's Russian. WHAT. Yes. True. I'm really excited. And a little bit scared. But she's way cool! Her name is Sister Kucheruk and she's a really solid missionary. We're going to tear this place up.
3. Sister Kucheruk and I have been asked to be Sister Training Leaders. That's the sister equivalent of zone leader. Previously there have only been two companionships but now there are three and we are the third! Basically, our responsibilities will be to go on splits with different sisters and then go to Mission Leadership Conference once a month in Moscow. What in the craziness. I'm excited! It's going to be an adventure for sure. I'm not sure how much I have to offer but I'm sure going to try.
So. World rocked. But in the best of ways! Mission life is the best. The best. I cannot express how grateful I am to be a missionary and to be serving in Russia. There's a section of scripture in Alma 26 that I love.
13 Behold, how many thousands of our brethren has he loosed from the pains of ahell; and they are brought to bsing redeeming love, and this because of the power of his word which is in us, therefore have we not great reason to rejoice?
14 Yea, we have reason to praise him forever, for he is the Most High God, and has loosed our brethren from the achains of hell.
15 Yea, they were encircled about with everlasting adarkness and destruction; but behold, he has brought them into his everlasting blight, yea, into everlasting salvation; and they are encircled about with the matchless bounty of his love; yea, and we have been instruments in his hands of doing this great and marvelous work.
16 Therefore, let us aglory, yea, we will bglory in the Lord; yea, we will rejoice, for our joy is full; yea, we will praise our God forever. Behold, who can glory too much in the Lord? Yea, who can say too much of his great power, and of his cmercy, and of his long-suffering towards the children of men? Behold, I say unto you, I cannot say the smallest part which I feel.

So good. I love at the end when it says, "Behold, I say unto ou, I cannot say the smallest part which I feel." I have felt that joy, that happiness that cannot even be described. This is the work of the Lord. At the beginning of conference President Monson said, "The work of the Lord goes forth unhindered." That's real. Step by step, no matter how big or how small, this work is moving forward. Have the best of weeks! Love, Sister Harris
